MobilityXlab Tech Scout - About the role
MobilityXlab’s mission is to accelerate global innovation for future mobility and a sustainable tomorrow. We are now looking for a Tech Scout to join our team at MobilityXlab and further strengthen our ability to find the best startup to match our corporate partners' strategic innovation objectives. What you will be doing
Source, pre-screen, and review tech startups in line with MobilityXlab’s strategic focus areas.
Proactively identify, network, and attend industry events to scout and monitor interesting startups.
Establish a network with top-tier investors and partners to secure our startup deal flow.
Research emerging technology trends, conferences and events; source, package and share information with the MobilityXlab team and partners.
Represent and promote MobilityXlab at relevant startup events.
Work closely with the MobilityXlab team and partner companies in order to identify needs, opportunities, and challenges and that may enable fast growth and success.
Responsible for planning and executing the startup screening process for our partners.
This is the job for you, if you...
Have a broad technical background, experience, and/or understanding of the automotive industry
Have at least two years of experience from local and or global innovation/startup ecosystems
Preferable have experience in tech investment in Venture Capital or a Corporate Venture Capital Fund
Have strong communication skills both in speaking and writing
Enjoy running projects from start to finish
Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment – with the flexibility, proactiveness and can-do attitude needed to deliver superb work in a small and dynamic team
Are able to carry out several tasks at the same time and are self-motivated
