Amali de Alwis is Managing Director of Microsoft for Startups UK, a role which sees her responsible for the strategic and commercial direction across Microsoft’s startup and scale-up activities in the UK. Prior to this she was CEO of Code First: Girls - a multi award-winning training company focused on increasing diversity in tech. She was a founding member at Tech Talent Charter, was named the ‘Most Influential Women in UK Technology’ and was awarded an MBE in 2019 for services to diversity and training in the technology industry. She is a board Member at the Raspberry PI Foundation, Ada, National College for Digital Skills; and D&I Board at the Institute of Coding. Tzvete Doncheva is the founder of 'Ecosystem', a project aiming to democratise access to the VC industry for less networked founders and junior VCs. She also works in venture. Previously she led the platform efforts at the London-based VC spin out of multinational real estate investment manager Round Hill Capital. Tzvete is a mentor to female founders (a non-exec trustee at Girls in Charge) and part of Shaper Impact Capital, a community-led volunteer project connecting purpose-driven companies with impact investors. *Spaces are limited.
