About Chris Heivly is one of the US leading experts on launching startups and has been dubbed the "Startup Whisperer." For over 30 years, Chris has worked at the highest levels for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including MapQuest, which was sold to AOL for $1.2 billion; Rand McNally, the world’s largest map publisher; and Accenture, the largest multinational management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company on the planet. He has also personally directed over $75 million in investment capital on behalf of these and other companies. Heivly currently also serves as one of two managing directors of The Startup Factory, the largest seed investment firm in the Southeast and is now EIR with leading global accelerator Techstars. His book 'Build the Fort' was named as one of the best books recommended by Shark Tank Entrepreneurs by Forbes.
Tzvete Doncheva is the founder of 'Ecosystem' and works as a visiting investment analyst at Amplifier, an early stage supply-chain focused venture capital fund. Previously she led the platform efforts at the London-based VC spin out of multinational real estate investment manager Round Hill Capital. Tzvete is a mentor to female founders (a non-exec trustee at Girls in Charge) and part of Shaper Impact Capital, a community-led volunteer project connecting purpose-driven companies with impact investors.
