About Reshma Sohoni is Managing Partner of Seedcamp, the European seed fund she co-founded in 2007 with a strong belief that European entrepreneurs have the power to compete on a global scale. Over a decade later and Seedcamp has raised five funds and invested in over 390 companies including the now publicly listed Romanian-founded company UiPath, and unicorns: Wise (formerly TransferWise), Revolut, wefox and Hopin.
Reshma is passionate about the intersection of business and technology and has degrees in Engineering and Business from UPenn and M&T as well as an MBA from INSEAD. She describes starting Seedcamp as a "once in a lifetime opportunity and one that she jumped into with a strong desire to help the European founder realize global success." Reshma is frequently listed as one of the most influential women in technology and VC and sits on the Digital Economy Council, working alongside the UK government and leading tech industry experts to provide policy advice to support tech startups and innovation in the UK. Reshma has been recognised by Forbes Midas List for Europe as one of the most influential VCs on the continent for the last four years in a row. In 2019 she also made it to the no1 spot on the FT’s most influential BAME tech leader list.
Tzvete is the founder of the 'Ecosystem' project, that aims to help tackle the issue of closed networks in venture. Its goal is to help very early stage founders access pre-seed capital through a newsletter and online initiatives. In her day-to-day role, she is the Investor and Public Relations Manager at PropTech1 Ventures, Europe's leading VC fund focused on PropTech and Construction Tech. Her experience in VC includes being on the investment team at a supply chain-focused fund and in a platform role at the VC spin out of multinational real estate investment manager Round Hill Capital. Tzvete is a firm advocate for bridging the gender gap in venture capital and technology, is a mentor to female founders; and a non-exec trustee at Girls in Charge.
