Dubai Watch Week, the watch fair that takes place in the Middle East, has become one of the most important horological events on the map.
With this in mind, the organization will be moving locations temporarily, relocating to New York City for a series of discussion panels. Centred around the goal of nurturing and sharing horological knowledge with the existing community and new adherents, the New York City weekend event will facilitate open conversations between collectors, artists, business professionals, tech gurus, fashion personalities and creative minds via panels, debates and masterclasses led by leading authorities across horology, commerce, entertainment, and technology.
An original concept created by Dubai Watch Week, the Horology Forum is an intellectual space comprised of free-flowing discussions between master craftsmen, captains of industries, visionaries and seasoned collectors.
This year's edition takes place in the meatpacking district in New York City comprising panels, debates and masterclasses.
Founded in 2015 by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Dubai Watch Week is a biennial event that provides an educational platform for the purpose of sharing knowledge, building connections and celebrating watchmaking. A pioneer in the industry, Dubai Watch Week aims to bridge communities and establish itself as a key event in the Dubai calendar. In the alternate years, Horology Forum travels to different horological hotspots around the world to carry on candid conversations and widen the community. This year, HF.8 (Horology Forum 8th edition) is in the meatpacking district in NYC on September 24 and 25, 2022.
