New York, NY – April 25, 2022. Confront Art will host the launch event for their social justice charity NFT campaign with mintNFT at Zero Space in Brooklyn on Thursday, April 28. This live-streamed drop marks the highlight of Confront Art’s ‘SEEINJUSTICE’ series, which debuted powerful sculptures of John Lewis, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd at New York City’s Union Square in September 2021.
During the event, Confront Art and mintNFT will officially release a 9,000 NFT collection, available via mintNFT.com. The collection is made up of six inspiring NFTs from artists Izz Akkosia and Optic Nerve that honor Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and John Lewis. The NFTs will incorporate selections from Dionne Warwick’s latest single ‘Power in the Name’ with Krayzie Bone. A portion of proceeds will support We Are Floyd Org., The Breonna Taylor Foundation, and The John and Lilian Miles Lewis Foundation.
The campaign will also feature a series of eleven, one-of-a-kind photography NFTs. The artists behind these remarkable pieces include LÁOLÚ NYC, Jesse Uranta, JOJO ABOT, Izzakko, Denny Ow, Sasha Bianca, Menyelek, Milana Burdette, SuperWAXX, Q. Oliver, and Candace Dane. Each of these NFTs will contain a unique video from the artist documenting the inspiration for their work.
Hosted by Confront Art, the event and live stream will begin at 7 pm EST. Featured speakers and artists include Terrence Floyd, Chris Caranbuci, and some of the participating NFT artists. In-person attendees will be able to view 3D projections of the NFTs and participate in live painting.

The launch will be live-streamed exclusively on mintNFT, a new platform that aims to provide users with a simple, safe, and social experience with NFTs.
