Despite the unfortunate circumstances that affected the entire world, Collision Conference 2020 was able to bring together 32,000 attendees and over 1,000 startups from more than 100 countries. Whether you were looking to learn from tech founders, pitch your startup to investors, or connect with other executives, Collision this year allowed you to do all of that and more from the comfort of your home. Here are some of the neat startups I met at Collision From Home over the networking.
LUCID LUCID is on the mission to help people take control of their mental wellbeing through the power of music. By using machine learning, this startup develops wellness-focused music experiences to improve mental health and reduce anxiety. The company launched VIBE app, an AI-personalized music experience that reduces stress and helps you focus. It attunes to specific physiological needs and has unique modes for every moment of your day. VIBE Premium is free for all healthcare and frontline workers, and for anyone facing mental health challenges during COVID-19.
Kinektt Kinektt is a social network that helps Christians all around the world to connect, create and share ideas. The startup is on the mission to become the first truly one-stop online Christian hub and create the safest place for Christian users to communicate, grow in their faith, and find new connections. The platform will include a messaging board to engage in dynamic conversations and a discovery tool to find nearby events, groups, and other services. In addition, Kinektt plans to launch an eCommerce feature that will provide Christian to Christian sales by both B2C and B2B exchanges.
SafeUP SafeUP is on the mission to become a global personal safety network to help women protect each other in stressful situations. The app was launched and tested in Israel, and it’s currently expanding to other countries. To drive women’s safety, SafeUP has built a Guardian Angel tool that allows you to talk to other women and get safety checks every 3 min. The app also includes an alert system to notify users when their area becomes unsafe. When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another. Treat Treat app allows users to connect with local legal dispensaries and earn reward points that can be redeemed towards future purchases within the Treat network. The app features current promotions nearby, provides details on the dispensaries and shares a summary of each product. To reduce wait times, Treat allows users to easily place orders, make payments and track the progress of each purchase to arrange a pickup. Livelink
Livelink aggregates various livestreams and virtual events from around the world in one place. A Livelink guide lets users filter the events by interest and provides an option to sign up for weekly event recommendations. Users can also create their private channels to share with their friends, and anyone can apply to become a curator of a public channel.
