McCain Foods will join Bored; Hungry to serve the world’s first “Regen Fries”

to attendees of NFT London. McCain Regen Fries are a limited item being shared with

consumers to underscore how regenerative farming methods build soil health, enhance

biodiversity and enhance farm resilience to climate change.





The visit to NFT London coincides with the launch of McCain’s new metaverse game that

bridges their physical farms with a digital Farms of the Future experience on the popular Roblox Livetopia platform.


The game will be displayed on monitors within NFT London, and McCain Regen Fries will be served from a specially commissioned electric McCain Regen Fries Food Truck on both days of the event. The truck will be operated by California-based Bored & Hungry, the first restaurant to bridge the metaverse and real-life experience.Farmer Will, the UK’s biggest FarmTok creator with one million followers on Tik Tok, will join McCain at the event on Friday. NFT London is an official stop on McCain’s #SaveOurSoil world tour and part of an expansive campaign to educate younger audiences on the importance of regenerative agriculture and how it enhances on-farm resilience to climate change.

 

The Roblox game marks McCain’s entry into the metaverse as the company - which produces

one in every four French fries eaten in the world - continues to be an industry leader focused on growing potatoes in ways that are beneficial for both the planet and the communities in which it operates. McCain knows the greatest education potential lies with the next generation of consumers and the initiative will meet this demographic where it spends time, both physically and digitally.
