Ecosystem builders are often the behind-the-scenes figures we do not see. But DEEP Ecosystems’ new Accelerator programme aims to combat this by providing builders with professional training and networking opportunities with their global counterparts.
The DEEP Startup Ecosystem Accelerator aims to create a network for behind-the-scenes ecosystem builders by providing them with coaching from experienced trainers. This will allow them to build global partnerships and increase their chances of gaining funding for their projects.
The goal is to connect ecosystems globally through people. To make this happen, the first cohort to participate are diverse, bringing ideas and projects from all over the world.
The 12 participating projects come from Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
How will the programme work?
The DEEP Startup Ecosystem Accelerator is a structured six-week programme that aims to turn regions into innovation hot beds.
The programme will include access to a global community of partners, funding opportunities, and the opportunity to create visibility around local initiatives globally.
At the end of the programme, participants will present their projects during the Ecosystem Demo Day. The best project builders will then pitch in front of potential investors, partners and peer ecosystem builders.
