M13 is looking for a Brand & Events Project Manager to join our LA-based team and support LA’s newest and largest early-stage venture fund. As a key member of M13’s Brand team, you will own project management for our firm’s digital and experiential projects in NY, LA, and SF. We seek energetic candidates who are excited about events, project management, effective communications, and brand building to create a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem that supports M13’s portfolio of consumer technology startups.
Who you are:
You are deeply passionate about brand, communication and entrepreneurship, with relevant experience producing and promoting live and digital events of all sizes, from intimate dinners to large investor conferences.
You may be a creative at heart, but you have exceptional organizational abilities and event and PR execution skills.
You are comfortable with project management tools and can work with the data and tech that help us thrive.
You enjoy learning in and contributing to a fast-paced startup.
You are an agile, responsive, and adaptable teammate.
You place high importance on transparency and internal communications, share progress along the way in a highly dynamic environment, and are capable of juggling competing deadlines with ease while remaining self-sufficient and attentive to detail and accuracy.

What you'll be doing:
Create, manage and institutionalize organizational systems for projects such as content production and live events. Schedule and lead kickoff meetings, manage work processes and deadlines, establish templates, collate monthly metrics, and more.
Manage events logistics for networking events, fireside chats, investor annual meetings. Responsibilities include coordinating speakers, ensure speaker and moderator readiness; sourcing and managing vendors for event production and ensure overall technical quality; activating pre- and post- promotion communications including feedback surveys through new and existing distribution channels; and securing sponsors and partnerships.
Manage M13’s customer relationship management (CRM).
Oversee the production, stocking and distribution of physical and digital branded materials.
