Who We Are
Debbie is a mission-driven fintech startup founded by three borrowers and drop-outs of the finance industry (Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Earnest). We have personally experienced crushing debt and were frustrated by the lack of adequate solutions in the market, so we decided to do something about it!
We’re building the first debt payoff and wealth-building app that rewards borrowers for improving their financial behavior. Debbie is built for borrowers, by borrowers.
Your Typical Day Here
You will direct the marketing efforts of a next-gen fintech platform by:
Developing an overall marketing strategy across paid, social, influencer, and organic channels
Executing on strategies to grow the overall user base in a cost-effective way
Establishing marketing pipelines/funnels, as well as tracking/attribution across channels
Ideating around brand strategy, PR, and consumer messaging to improve brand awareness
Developing a community around the product where users can engage and speak with each other
Inform our product development process from conversations with customers
Qualities:
You are passionate about building next-gen consumer tech products

You are passionate about the country’s collective debt problem
Requirements:
4+ years experience in a marketing, growth, or consumer-facing role
Experience building customer marketing funnels and campaigns
Strong experience in Growth Hacking, Social Media/ Viral Marketing, and demand gen
Strong knowledge of campaign and customer management tools, as well as web analytics tools (Google ads/analytics, Facebook ads, etc)
