Silicon Valley Bank’s EMEA Global Fund Banking (GFB) team is responsible for managing key aspects of SVB’s relationship with its Private Equity and Venture Capital clients in the UK and across Western Europe. GFB optimises the client experience through dedicated relationship management and cross-selling the breadth of SVB’s products to this sector, including banking, lending, treasury and foreign exchange.

SVB is looking for a dedicated banker with strong relationship management and credit experience to join a fast-growing team in London. The person will have responsibility for an existing portfolio of PE &amp VC clients, planning for their current and potential future needs, as well as building and growing new relationships within the market. They will also be responsible for the structuring, underwriting, and closing of debt, FX and treasury products, as well as driving process improvements to make it straightforward for clients to do business with SVB.


You must have a good understanding of the fund and management company level needs of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, and the desire to learn more. You will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills, display initiative and attention to detail, and be highly collaborative and team oriented.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, together with proven relevant experience
